Tom Hanks Thanks Helpers As He Recovers From Coronavirus; The Pic Gets Aussie Fans Worried, ‘Tom, What Are You Doing?’
Tom Hanks hit the headlines a few days ago after he announced he and his wife Rita Wilson had been tested positive for the coronavirus. The two are currently isolated in Australia and ever since he had been diagnosed, Tom has been keeping his fans updated about his health, through social media platforms. Now, as he recovers from Coronavirus, he shared yet another post thanking his helpers. However, his post has got his Aussie fans worried for an entirely different reason!

Tom Hanks’ latest post on social media was a note thanking his helpers, and urging fans to take care of themselves and each other. Along with it was a picture of a plate of toast spread with Vegemite, along with a tube of Vegemite beside it. For those who don’t know, Vegemite is a paste made from yeast extract and is quite a popular spread in Australia. So of course, Aussies were quick to point out that he put too much vegemite on his toast, and poked fun at him.

Some fans were also worried about the amount of vegemite on his toast. While one comment read,” Tom, what are you doing? No Australian puts that much Vegemite on his toast," another tweet read, “Tom Hanks is going to die from Vegemite isn’t he.” Another tweet read, “WHERE WERE THESE HELPERS WHEN TOO MUCH VEGEMITE WAS BEING SPREAD ON THAT TOAST??????” Take a look:

It was on Twitter last week that Tom Hanks announced he and Rita Wilson were down with the Coronavirus. Following Coronavius outbreak, several events, concerts and gigs have been cancelled.
